Who’s in Control of Your Holiday Season? Learn More About Entrepreneurship this Week with 2 Webinars

It’s that time of year where it may feel like you have to be in three places at once. Whether it’s Christmas shopping, holiday parties and trying to finish up the year at work on a high note, time is a precious commodity in the month of December.

Does it seem like December is becoming more and more controlled by your job? Since Corporate America is requiring you to do more and meet that end of year budget, do you feel like you are losing control?

The LA Times reported these characteristics from a study of 1,000 US Workers:
  • 80% of Americans still work when outside the office, putting in an average of eight hours in each week.
  • The average worker starts checking emails in bed at 7:09am.
  • By 8am, seven in ten workers have gone through their messages.
  • After 10pm, 40% of workers are still checking their email. Seven in ten says it’s a necessary step before going to bed.
  • More than half of Americans keep tabs on their emails at family outings.
  • 38% of Americans check email at the dinner table.
What if you can take that control back? Being your boss can give you a greater measure of control over your work calendar.   Entrepreneurship is a way that you can create your own career and create an investment in the future. Entrepreneurship puts the control in your hands!

You have the control to take part in one of two different webinars this week. On Wednesday, 12/18, join me for “Business Ownership Options” which looks at different types of business ownership including franchising. On Thursday, 12/19, join me for “Business Ownership Options for African Americans.” All you have to do is head over to michiganfranchiseforum.com for more information and to sign up today!

Have questions? You can contact me at  313-821-5060 or mcory@frannet.com. Please note, all of my services, consultations, and events are FREE to you!

Giving Thanks for Work-Life Balance

Have you heard horror stories about corporate workers putting in tons of hours, bringing their work home with them or constantly travelling, thus not having a family life? What about owners putting in 100 hour weeks to get their business up and running?

With more and more retail shops opening up on Thanksgiving and other holidays, some hourly workers are even losing a bit of their work/life balance?

So, how can franchising help restore a work/life balance?

The systems are already in place: The beautiful thing about a franchised concept is that the systems are already in place. Other franchise owners of the same concept have been successful using the same systems, and you can literally take pages out of their playbook to use in your market. You may also benefit from an overall corporate marketing strategy that will drive business to your front door. Don’t lose your valuable time working and fretting about trying to re-invent the wheel.

Different ownership models: Owning a business doesn’t have to mean working long owners, or in some cases even “Full-time”. The semi-absentee ownership models allowed by some franchise concepts allows the owner to work approximately 10-20 hours per week. Knowing this in advance can help you control your schedule and work/life balance, rather than feeling out of control.

FranNet is here to teach you more about franchising, and how you can maintain the work/life balance you want. If you’re feeling like you’re sacrificing your family life for your work, it might be time to learn more.

If you’re ready to explore opportunities that will provide work-life balance, plan on attending my FREE seminar, “Franchising as a Career, and Investment, or Both” on Wednesday, December 11 in Troy. For more information or to register, visit www.michiganfranchiseforum.com. The site will also tell you about all of my FREE services, including webinars and events. You can also contact me at 313-821-5060 or mcory@frannet.com.

Giving Thanks for a Support System

Being an entrepreneur can be tough (and lonely). But just as we are so thankful this time of year for family and friends, those business ownership that have chosen the franchise route have thanks to give for the support systems that make it a little easier to deal with those ups and downs of entrepreneurship.

Franchise owners have access to two key components of a support system:

  • A Franchise Family – The minute you launch your new franchise, you have access to a franchise family – a group of individuals that have been in your shoes before, and know what its like to start up a franchise within your specific industry/brand. Not only that, but they all share a vested interest in helping YOU and thus, THE BRAND succeed!
  • Franchise Support Team – Remember, as you do well, your Franchisor does well. That’s why you’ll find dedicated members of the corporate franchise team assisting with your ongoing support needs. It’s one of those services you get as a franchisee in return for your royalty payments.
And don’t forget about FranNet! Because we’re a locally based franchise-consulting firm, you’ll have the support of our network as you launch your new business too! Whether you’re looking for an attorney or CPA, help with payroll processing, need a cleaning company or handyman, or looking for office furniture, FranNet can help point you in the right direction.

If the aforementioned sounds like a great ways to be in business, but you aren’t sure how to find a franchise that is best for you, consider contacting FranNet. We are here to help match you up with franchised concepts to research that fit your lifestyle and goals. And keep in mind; all of our consultations, seminars and events are FREE to you!

Don't miss my free seminar, "Franchising as a Career, an Investment, or Both" on December 11 inTroy! To learn more and to RSVP, please visit michiganfranchiseforum.com. You can also contact me at mcory@frannet.com or 313-821-5060.

Starting Up a Business? GIVE THANKS for Someone Else's Idea!

One of the hardest parts of starting your own business is coming up with that million-dollar idea. Has someone else already tried your idea? What if you miscalculated this, or underestimated that? What if your idea fails?

That's one of the reasons for entrepreneurs to give thanks for franchises. Now, keep in mind, you are paying to use someone's idea... But you are also reducing your risk. Whether it's a restaurant, accounting firm, dry cleaners or anything you can think of - the franchised brand shows a track record of success.

Success isn't a guarantee though, there’s still a lot of work to do! But why not take advantage of all the franchise has to offer to help position you for that success?

For more information about franchising, I am putting on a free workshop on December 11 in Troy, MI entitled "Franchising as a Career, an Investment, or Both," we will examine the pros and cons of various different business ownership options while taking a deep dive into franchising. For more information and to register, please visit frannet.com/bbetser or call 313-821-5060. You can also email me at mcory@frannet.com.

Just a reminder, ALL of my services, workshops, webinars and seminars are free to you!

Buy a Gently Used Business – Be a FRANCHISE HUNTER!

You have probably seen reality shows like Auction Hunters and Pawn Stars, where used collectibles may result in financial gain.  The stars do their research and find out just how much that collectible is worth and consider how much money they can make.

Did you ever think you could buy a business

There are many life reasons, positive or negative, that could lead a franchise owner to sell their business.  Investing in a “franchise resale” could just as easily be a gold mine as it could be a landfill.  The key to potential success or failure is doing your research.

Let’s look at some reasons why a franchise owner would need to sell their business:

  • Disaster - need for liquid assets:  Sometimes, bad things happen.  Maybe the owner needs to pay off a medical bill or something else that requires a large sum of capital.  Rather than selling a house, maybe this is their best option.
  • Dissolving a partnership:  If the franchise is owned by a partnership, a lack of proper planning could result in the owners needing to sell this business.  This could be a falling-out between partners, or potentially the death of a partner.
  • Retirement:  Maybe Bora Bora or another far off island is calling, and the owner is just ready to retire into the sunset.  If there isn’t a heir to the throne, maybe you can take over!

Now, keep in mind, the owner could just be getting rid of a rotten egg.  You want to make sure that you are doing your research and asking the right questions to give yourself the most information.
This is where FranNet can help!  If you are considering starting business, or potentially even buying a franchise resale, let me sit down with you and talk about the pros and cons.  All of my consultation and services are FREE to you.  Contact me at 313-821-5060 or mcory@frannet.com and let me help you become a FRANCHISE HUNTER.

Career in a Rut? Time for Plan Z!

When it comes to careers, most Americans have pursued Plan A. Plan A is that “steady” job with reliable income and benefits. Working “40” hours a week, coming home and eating dinner with your spouse and children (unless you’re a Road Warrior). Plan B is the fallback career. With the recession changing the economic face of the country over the past few years, maybe you were forced into a Plan B. Maybe Plan B is a lower-paying job a few steps back. Maybe Plan B is doing some on-the-side consulting until the next Plan A job comes around.

Just a few weeks ago, Deroit Free Press Business Columnist, Josh Linkner, introduced us to Plan Z. It may stand for Zoom, Zap, or Zig Zag. In essence, it’s the dream plan. What would you do if you could do whatever you wanted? How could you make the biggest impact on the world? What would you want to be remembered for? According to Linkner, this could be “the plan that you had in mind before you learned all the things that could go wrong. The plan that you’d pursue if you knew you couldn’t fail. Plan Z is your Road Map for things going INCREDIBLY RIGHT instead of horribly wrong.”

Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

So, how do you get there? This is where Plan F–Squared comes in … the first F stands for FranNet. Let me show you how to get from point A or point B to point Z. There are franchise concepts in a vast array of fields, and for almost every type of personality imaginable.

The second F in Plan F-Squared stands for free. All of my services, consultation, seminars, webinars and experience are yours for free. No catch.

A great place to start the “journey to Z” is at my free seminar, Michigan Franchise Forum; Executive Briefing on Wednesday, October 9!   This event is geared toward experienced marketing, sales and general management professionals who are looking to take control of their careers and futures by leveraging their skills and a proven franchise system to launch their own business.  Hear from franchise development executives from several White-Collar, Executive Model franchise concept.  Have their questions answered and engage in one-on-one discussions with any or all of the franchisors.  Learn about the next steps in conducting a thorough investigation on one or more of the concepts presented.

Due to limited seating, registration is RESERVED for individuals (or couples) with strong managerial and/or marketing and sales backgrounds, liquidity of at least $75K, and who are contemplating a business launch in the next 6 to 12 months.  To RSVP, please visit michiganfranchiseforum.com.  You can also contact me at mcory@frannet.com or 313-821-5060.

The Michigan Comeback, and How You Can Participate In It

Michigan, especially Detroit, gets a lot of flack for its financial condition. This was reinforced just recently by Detroit’s bankruptcy filing in July.

The obvious statement is, “there is nowhere to go but up."

According to a survey of Business Leaders for Michigan, this ascent from the doldrums may be a lot sooner than most think. Crain’s Detroit Business reported the following results from that survey:
  • 44% of respondents believe Michigan’s economy will grow in the next six months
  • Zero respondents believe Michigan’s economy will get worse
  • 64% of respondents believe that the national economy will be about the same over the next six months
  • 60% of respondents believe Michigan’s economy will grow in the next eighteen months
  • 44% of respondents believe the national economy will increase in the next eighteen months
  • 52% of respondents project their companies will ad jobs in the next six months. More than one-third plan to make capital expenditures.
So, why would a franchise blog reference these stats? Because, this is a great time to consider starting a business. Not only is there opportunity to participate in the growth of consumer spending as more discretionary income comes into the state, but those who chose to start a franchise that focuses on business-to-business sales will cater to a larger prospect list, including new and expanding businesses.

To learn more about how YOU might fit in, please join me for a FREE seminar, “Franchising as a Career, an Investment, or Both,” on Thursday, August 22 in Troy, MI. Starting at 10am, this seminar will touch on:

  • General discussion about reasons to start a business
  • Comparison between starting a business from scratch, buying an existing business or starting a franchise
  • How franchising can provide a desirable alternative to traditional employment
  • Basic information on franchising, including the range of categories, entry and long-term strategies, investment levels and fees
  • Legal regulations governing franchising that protect the buyer
  • And more!

SOME FACTS ABOUT OUR GREATEST GENERATION, AND HOW TO GIVE BACK

In May of 2013, US Today published their yearly Senior Citizens Health Care Report. This report touched on the aging “baby boomer” population, as well as current trends.

Here are some of the stats:

  • Currently, 1 in 8 Americans are 65 years of age or older. (Appx. 40.3 million)
  • In 2030, 1 in 5 Americans will be age 65 years of age or older. (Appx. 72.1 million)
  • According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
    • Nearly 8 in 10 seniors are living with at least one chronic health condition
    • 50% have 2 or more
    • 25% of seniors are obese (30% in Michigan)
    • 20% have been diagnosed with diabetes
    • More than 70% have heart disease
    • Nearly 60% have arthritis
  • Adults 65 and older spend nearly twice as much as those 45 to 64 on health care each year. If you consider the entire adult population, seniors spend three to five times as much on health care than those 18-64.
What if you could give back to this generation? What if, at the same time, you could start a profitable business?

Senior care franchises are available to provide much needed assistance to seniors. They employ caregivers to provide assistance at home – whether it’s nutritious meal preparation, assistance with hygiene and grooming, or support with activities that maximize independence. They can also provide services to those in varying stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia, helping families to keep their loved ones independent, but still providing that bit of assistance with some activities of daily living.

On Wednesday, August 21, join me for a FREE online webinar that discusses one of these senior care franchises in depth. Learn more about the growing marketplace, business opportunities, and the demand for senior care assistance. Owners are NOT required to have a medical background. For more information and to register, please visit www.michgianfranchiseforum.com. You can also contact me at 313-821-5060 or mcory@frannet.com. Can you MANUFACTURE Success as a Business Owner?

The light manufacturing category of business is very broad, but each business has one thing in common – you are making what you sell.

Since it’s light manufacturing, that typically means you are in an environment with no loud noises, no noxious odors, no dangerous chemicals and no dangerous equipment. You’re making something out of raw materials – something truly unique and something to be proud of. The work day usually consists of typical business hours, and if you’re good – you’ll have repeat customers that generate 80% of your business.

You’re invited to participate in a a special webinar examining a light manufacturing business opportunity on August 1 and August 22 at 2 p.m. EDT. .This business-to-business manufacturer offers recession-resistant products that every business needs, and only requires a few employees with specific skills.  To find out more information and to register, please visit my web site at michiganfranchiseforum.com.

Investing in Yourself

If you are looking to make an investment, you may be dissuaded by some of the financial returns that are currently in the market:

36 to 48 Month CD,
$50,000 investment [1}
0.4% APY
Average Short Term Municipal Bond
Less than 1% APR
Stocks Annual Return (according to Warren Buffet)
6 to 7%

On the other hand, what if you could make an investment in yourself?  Now, keep in mind, starting a business is tough, and not everyone succeeds.

According to the Census, 64% of businesses survive the first two years of existence.  Franchisees that consult with FranNet have seen a 91% success rate!  Five years?  About half of businesses survive, yet FranNet-assisted franchisees have seen an 85% success rate!

It may be time invest in yourself.  But where do you start? Why not seek the FREE help and guidance of FranNet?   Give me a call at 312-821-5060 or email me at mcory@frannet.com for more information.

EXAMINING THE FEARS OF STARTING A BUSINESS

According to Entrepreneur Magazine, two-thirds of Americans have thought about starting a business.  Some common fears that may prevent one from starting a business include the fear of giving up a “guaranteed” income and benefits from a day job, having to work night-and-day to ensure that a business goes well, and wondering if the business idea will be successful.

All throughout this month, FranNet is hosting FREE webinars that explore franchising and the many facets of this method of business ownership. Perhaps with the right information, some of those fears may give way to eagerness and optimism of taking control and starting a new chapter in your life.

In addition to addressing the natural fears of starting a business, these upcoming webinars will explain how to reduce risk in business ownership, finding a great fit and its correlation to success, as well as specific franchise concepts that may peak your interest.

The American Dream Isn’t Dead …

We're coming up on July 4th, and I want to emphatically state that THE AMERICAN DREAM IS NOT DEAD! In fact, it's very much alive! The unemployment rate for June 2013 was a half-percentage better than June 2012. Just over the month, 175,000 positions were created. It's been slowly improving from the recent record low of 10.2 percent in October 2009.

But, if you're exploring business ownership just because of these reports, beware! Its important to explore those businesses that have the ability to thrive in all economic conditions - both good and bad.

The question is how to do that! This is just one of the topics we cover in our upcoming seminar called “Franchising as a Career, an Investment, or Both!” This event is FREE, and will take place on July 25 in Troy, MI. Juiceblendz Franchise Expands to Michigan

Franchise and Employment Opportunities Available with Popular Smoothie Chain as Result of Continued Growth and Success
June 26, 2013 // Franchising.com // WESTON, FL – JuiceBlendz, the popular South Florida-based  franchise, is pleased to announce national expansion plans with its first Michigan location scheduled to open later this summer.
According to Adam Ogden, founder and CEO of JuiceBlendz, “We are thrilled to grow our franchise in a completely new market. Since opening our first site in 2005, we have grown exponentially in the South Florida market. An aggressive national franchise plan has always been part of the company’s growth strategy. We are pleased to have expanded our presence in Florida, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and now Michigan.”
JuiceBlendz International, which operates the JuiceBlendz and YoBlendz franchises, has experienced great success with both traditional and non-traditional locations such as those within stadiums/arenas, college campuses, high schools and convenience stores.
“JuiceBlendz is committed to the continuing expansion, growth and success of our stores and franchise system,” continues Ogden. “As the brand continues to develop and strengthen, we remain dedicated to providing the highest quality product. And, with continued growth comes employment opportunities. The door is certainly open for dedicated individuals in Michigan who want to be a part of our growing team, which is a rare opportunity in today’s job market.”
Franchisees TJ and Dana Mettler found the JuiceBlendz franchise through working with Brigitte Betser of FranNet of Michigan. She helped pair them with JuiceBlendz because of their desire to offer a healthy alternative to  and other quick service  formats. “We wanted to open a franchise that had a solid name and reputation, and the natural ingredients and healthy nature of the product really stood out to us. We are pleased to become the newest franchisee of the JuiceBlendz brand,” stated TJ Mettler. The couple plans to hire a minimum of 15 employees, and is preparing their Downtown Grand Rapids location (15 Ionia Ave. SW, Suite 100) for a grand opening in August.
For JuiceBlendz and YoBlendz employment opportunities or additional information, including a complete listing of franchise locations, visit juiceBlendz.com or yoblendz.com.

The American Dream Isn’t Dead …

That’s right, the American dream isn’t dead!

This is just one of the topics we cover in our upcoming seminar called “Franchising as a Career, an Investment, or Both!” This event is FREE, and will take place on June 27 in Troy, MI. For more information, please visit michiganfranchiseforum.com, email mcory@frannet.com or call 313-821-5060.

Franchise Re-sales in SE Michigan

Does the fear of the unknown prevent you from seizing your independence through business ownership? What if you could eliminate some of the uncertainty by investing in a business that’s already open and has some history?

A re-sale is a way to get into business ownership, after someone else has already done the initial start-up. How is the business performing in the market? Has it gained market share, or is it still being introduced to the market? The great thing about a re-sale is that you can ask these questions and get that “head start” in the growth process.

Don’t let your dream slip away for lack of viable options. Talk to me about these and other opportunities.

Listed are a few of the re-sales we have available:
- Residential and Commercial Specialty Maintenance – The ONLY national brand in this category. Low overhead, high margins. Prime existing territories available in Genesee County, Thumb area, Saginaw / Bay City / Midland and west Michigan.
- Hair Care – Major name recognition with long-standing brand. Several units available throughout SE Michigan.
- Automotive Services – Instant brand recognition with franchisor established in 1972. Profitable unit for sale in south Genesee County.
- Commercial Building Services – This franchisor has a 35-year track record of success. Prime Macomb County territory for sale.
- In-home Senior Care – The US Census Bureau shows that the age 65+ category is the fastest growing segment of our population. A leading franchisor in this industry will offer existing operations in Oakland and Macomb County for sale to the right individual.
- Tax Preparation Service – Consistently ranked as a Top Franchise by Entrepreneur Magazine and other industry experts. Two profitable units in Macomb County available as a package.
- Business to Business Marketing Services – This franchisor has a 40+ year track record of success with a strong recurring revenue model. Two huge existing territories for sale, one covering Grosse Pointe, Macomb County and St. Clair County and the other covering southern Wayne and Monroe Counties.

Is There a Way to Create an Investment AND Help Your Child Start Their Professional Career?

This is a repeat of a previous article, but with a new crop of America’s youth looking to enter professional life, I wanted to republish this article.   If this article resonates with your current family and financial situation, I advise that you and your new college graduate attend my upcoming FREE workshop entitled “Franchising as a Career, an Investment, or Both" on May 23 in Troy, MI at 10 am.  For more information and to RSVP, visit michiganfranchiseforum.com.-------------

It’s tough watching as your child sits by looking to enter the real world, fighting a tough job market. Stats show that it takes an average of 8 months for recent college graduates to find a job.  Approximately 22 million young adults are living with their parents (Source:  SmartMoney). Terms like fiscal cliff and debt ceiling probably add a bit of doubt to whether your child will still be waiting tables, or starting into a professional career with a steady paycheck. At the same time, you may be wondering about your stocks and 401(k).  Is there a better investment that isn’t as dependent on Wall Street?

Franchising can give you a solution to both of your problems.
Starting a franchise is truly an investment in yourself and your family, backed by a proven business system.

Getting your child involved.
Will there be another manager that you can trust more so than one you know intimately?  If you truly believe that your child can succeed, and they just need a chance, why not give it to them?  Get your child involved early in the process, including doing the research on the available franchises – they will become further vested in the process and feel like a true managing partner.  At the same time, you can help mold and guide them as an early manager.  You may have some disagreements about how to run the business, but you will know how to work with your child (compared to a unrelated person).

Real-life stories from the COLLEGE campus.
Many colleges and universities are beginning to recognize the important role that entrepreneurism may very well play in their students NEAR future. As a matter of fact, on March 10, I’ve been asked to speak to a
Management/Marketing 346 class at Saginaw Valley State University. This course takes an entrepreneurial view of starting and managing a new franchise from both the perspective of the franchisor and franchisee. Emphasis is placed on recognizing and evaluating opportunities for franchise entrepreneurs, the development of appropriate strategies and plans, and the implementation and launch of a new franchise. The instructor, Andrew Anderson, MBA, tells me that FOUR of his students have gone on to open franchises in the past couple years, upon graduation. You can learn more about the college’s unique curriculum at www.svsu.edu/cbm.

A better investment.
Can owning a franchising (and believing in your family) be a better investment tool than stocks? Now, every situation is different, and some can do better than others in the stock market.  But look at the results from 2012.

·                Dow Jones Industrial Average: +0.13%     ·                NASDAQ: 0.12%·                S&P 500:  -0.00%  (barely down)

Pretty flat!  Do your research, team up with FranNet, and make an investment in your future (and your child’s future!)

USE FRANNET
FranNet exists to start you on the road to success through FREE consulting services.  I am here to meet with you, talk about your goals and aspirations, and see if franchising is right for you and your family. There may be one or more options that fit your criteria, and the skills and personality of your son or daughter. I can help you and your family investigate franchise concepts that may prove to be a great match for you.  Give me a call at 313-821-5060 or email me at
mcory@frannet.com, and let’s have a conversation about how franchising can give you a better investment vehicle, and help your child start their professional career.

So, Why Should I Pay a Franchise Fee When I Could Just Start My Own Business?

This is a common question when people first think about franchising. The franchise fee may be daunting at first blush. However, when you break down the components and what you'll be receiving, that fee may make a lot more sense.

What are you getting from the franchise fee?

·     The Brand: Most franchised brands have a proven success record and a built-in identity. Just think of the time and cost that would be required trying to find the right logo, develop radio and TV commercials, and design other marketing pieces on your own. What are the true odds that your marketing would work?

·      Systems and Operations: Do you know the steps needed to launch and operate your business efficiently? Do you know the steps to make your business effective? With a franchise, you have vast resources and an operating plan to follow, as well as “sister” franchise owners that can help provide best practices.

·     Computer Systems:  Franchises may have computer engineers that develop specific computer systems that maximize efficiency and front-of-house speed.  Hand in hand with operations – the computer system may assist with inventory, sales reporting, cash handling, labor scheduling and more.

Interested in learning more about franchising?  I invite you to attend my workshop, “Franchising as a Career, an Investment or Both.”  This FREE workshop is on May 23 at 10:00 am in Troy, MI.  Consider me your franchising coach … all of my services are FREE to you, with no obligation!   Please visit michiganfranchiseforum.com  to register.  You can also contact me at 313-821-5060 or mcory@frannet.com if you have any questions. .

If you BUILD it, they will come (again and again) …

Join me for LIGHT MANUFACTURING DISCOVERY DAY on Monday, May 6th from 12pm to 2 pm in Troy, MI (lunch is provided). Learn about a light manufacturing business-to-business opportunity.  This concept leverages your marketing, sales and management skills on a traditional Monday-Friday schedule.

Our economy has for generations been fueled by manufacturing, both heavy and light.  Light manufacturing is an environment with no loud noises, no noxious odors, no dangerous chemicals, and no dangerous equipment.  Much of the light manufacturing over the years has gone overseas due to economics. Some manufacturing remains here due to different factors including; technology, unique raw materials, the need to be close to the customer, or the custom nature of small run production.

Some people have the desire to make a product from raw materials.  They like the process involved in manufacturing.  They like the tangible results of what they have made.  They like the single location nature of the industry, the regular hours it operates, the project scheduling, the potential to someday purchase their own building adding to their retirement investments and they understand the high resale value of a manufacturing business.

Picture yourself running a manufacturing business where your staff makes a product from raw materials.

It’s custom production. Every project is different; every day is different. You will see tangible, visible results of your efforts driving home.

It’s close to home, in a low overhead, business park location, operating Monday-Friday, 9-5 (no nights, no weekends and no holidays) with a small staff of career employees.Your business will offer recession-resistant products that every business needs, and about 80% of sales are traditionally generated from 30-50 corporate accounts.

To register, please visit michiganfranchiseforum.com today!  Feel free to contact me with any questions at 313-821-5060 or mcory@frannet.com.

The Motley Fool’s Morgan Housel just released this tweet, “Sorry to ruin your evening, but we are living through the worst employment disaster since the Great Depression. [1]” He writes in his article that although the unemployment rate is dropping, this is due to the overall labor force participation rate dropping. [2]

This is the time to take control.

What if you could create your own job? I invite you to join me for “Franchising as an Investment, a Career, or Both” on April 24 at 10am in Troy, MI. We will examine what a franchise is, and how you can leverage an already existing business concept into a career and an investment in yourself.
